Getting started with BLENREP

What is BLENREP?

BLENREP contains the active substance, belantamab mafodotin, which is made up of two types of medicines that are attached to each other:

  • Part 1: a monoclonal antibody
  • Part 2: an anticancer medication

In BLENREP, the monoclonal antibody is a protein designed to find the multiple myeloma cells in your body and bind to them. Once attached to the cancer cell, the anti-cancer medication is released to kill the cancer cells.
