Preparing for treatment
What to discuss with your doctor before starting treatment with BLENREP
Before starting treatment with BLENREP, talk to your doctor about your health status or concerns you may have before starting treatment, such as:
Pregnancy
- Including if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, effective contraception must be used during treatment and for 4 months after the last dose of BLENREP
- Your doctor will ask you to take a pregnancy test before you start treatment
- If you are a man who could father a child, effective contraception must be used during treatment and for 6 months after your last dose
Breastfeeding
- Do not breastfeed during treatment and for 3 months after your last dose
- Reactions to any previous infusions with BLENREP
- Any previous treatment and the medicines you take, including any drugs, vitamins, minerals, natural supplements or alternative medicines
